eighty-nine weeks

*knock knock*

Go away, old man.  WE DON'T WANT ANY.

*knock knock*

I said, GO AWAY!

*knock knock*

What are you, hard of hearin'?  Are you so hard of hearin' you can't hear me yellin' at the top of my lungs?  I'm sayin'...  NO, I'M YELLIN', GO AWAY!!!

Besides, we're still social distancing 'round here.  Keepin' our social circles small, and always havin' six paws between ourselves and strangers.

Strangers like YOU.

MOUSES!

*KNOCK KNOCK*

Oh for mousin' out loud, no matter how much I yell at him, Old Man Winter is still knockin' on my door.

MOUSES!

Lookie here Mr Winter, you old fool, we're not interested.  It's bad enough that I've been stuck here with two good-for-nothin' peeps for the past four hundred and eighty-four million, four hundred and forty-four thousand, eight hundred cat seconds; I'M CERTAINLY NOT plannin' on bein' stuck here with 'em, with snow.  Keep your snow and your cold and your other winter-related paraphernalia to yourself, you hear?

*knock knock*

I said, YOU HEAR?

*knock knock*

Of course you don't.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

It's like I'm livin' in some kinda bad knock knock joke.

MOUSES!

***********************

And remember:

IF IN DOUBT,

DON'T. GO. OUT.

Continue to practice SOCIAL DISTANCIN' measures

AND KEEP WASHIN' YOUR PAWS.

MOUSES!

Remember to mask up, too.

  2. Sevvers, why don't you teleport over here for a visit? We're having lovely weather. Tomorrow it will be 25 or 26 degrees Celsius. We could go for a pucnic in the Enchanted Forest (where they had a bumper nip crop this year, so We hear).

  3. Yikes. We got that same bad joke today. Check out Grammy's page for the pile of white fluff that dropped on our balcony overnight and all day today. GROSS and COLD and not conducive to sun-puddle napping.

  4. Seville, we are not enthused by the arrival of cold weather either!

  9. Insistent person isn't he. Maybe you just need to answer once and then say no thanks, we got al the chill winds we need, and ice and snow in the fridge and freezer. That way maybe he'll get the hint, or do you a deal with a discount on the snow volume this year, MOL

  11. Please send him here to Wet Canada! We are supposed to be having SNOW! SNOW in and on the mountains, where it saves water for those HOT summmers we have been having...but NO, its WARM! It is raining! Rain only washes away the dirt from where the forest fires were AND is washing out the ROADS for criss sakes! You know that means it is hard to get the foodables here! As a matter of fact, we are being forced to eat TUNA because Mom can't get us Fancy Feast or Friskies (Not that we mind that). But GOOD things happened in Canada this last Weekend, Ryan Renolds won the Governor Generals Award! Yipee!! Stay warm Seville. Your pal Marv.

  12. We're all being real careful here. #1 recently got a FireStick and we now have Prime Video and Netflix. With a bit of luck, she will never go anywhere again!
