What has the May weather been like here in Nova Scotia, you ask?
Well first it was cold. Then it was damp. Then it was damp AND cold.
It rained. Rained a bit more. Made it more damp. Plus, it was still cold.
Oh sure, there were quite a few super duper nice days tucked in there as well, but not necessarily enough of 'em to make up for the cold and the damp.
BUT NOW IT'S LIKE A MILLION AND NINETY-TWO DEGREES!
Seriously, it is. It's literally like a million and ninety-two degrees. LITERALLY!
Kinda. Sorta. Whatever.
Weatherpeeps are sayin' this afternoon is gonna be 28C. PLUS, there's gonna be a humidex of 33C!
Did I mention it was still May?
Which is TECHNICALLY still spring, my friends.
Too bad Mother Nature didn't know 'bout that.
So that's why I'm postin' early today. I'm postin' early on account of my plannin' on spendin' this afternoon drinkin' refreshin' niptinis by the pool.
Well that was the plan, anyway.
But since we don't have a pool, I'll have to settle for niptinis by the puddle.
WHAT? THERE ARE NO PUDDLES OUT THERE? ARE YOU SERIOUS?
Maybe I can enjoy those niptinis by the sprinkler, then?
HEY PEEPERS! YOU WANNA SET UP THE SPRINKLER FOR ME SO I CAN DRINK MY NIPTINIS BY IT THIS AFTERNOON?
What do you MEAN you're not doin' that? What do you MEAN?
No, seriously, what do you mean? Peepers, is my every wish not your command?
'Cause let me tell you, it sure should be.
No sprinkler then, huh?
NIPTINIS BY THE KITCHEN SINK IT IS!
Somehow it doesn't sound nearly as enticin'.
But needs must.
Remember to mask up, too.
