UP ON THE HOUSETOP THE...

"MEOW."

REINDEER PAUSED.  Out jumped good ol' Santa...

Nah, that can't be right.  Too late for Santa to be here.  Santa doesn't deliver in January.

MOUSES!

I know!  It was Peepers.  Yup, it was Peepers who paused up on that ol' roof just before jumpin' out, and..

Nah, that can't be right, either.  Never once in all my nine lives have I ever seen Peepers up on the roof of my house.

Hmmm...

"MEOW."

Of course, it must be Saffron.

MOUSES!

Oh Peeeeeperrrs...

Peepers, Saffy Saffron Sassifras is up on the roof.  You might wanna help the boy down.

MOUSES!

Well I don't know why he's up on the roof, now, do I.  Truth be told, I didn't ask.  But when you climb up there, yourself, you can ask him if you like.

MOUSES!

"Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow.  Meow, meow, meow.  Meow, meow, meow...  MEOW!"

For mousin' out loud, Saffron.  What's with all the meowin'?  Peepers helped you down from the roof, didn't she?  You might wanna stop complainin' and give her a purr or somethin' to thank her, and...

"MEOW!"

Well I know she took her good sweet time before runnin' upstairs to open a bedroom window to let you in but that's what peeps do, I'm afraid.  Peeps have a tendency to think that if we cats can get ourselves up onto the roof, we should be able to get ourselves down from the roof, too, and...

"MEOW!"

Hmmph!  Well don't complain to me 'bout Peepers' lackadaisical attitude.  And don't complain to me 'bout her bein' slow as a snail, either.

"MEOW!"

Yeah, yeah...  I suggest you take it up with the peep.

Or find some kitty who cares.

MOUSES!

IF IN DOUBT,

DON'T. GO. OUT.

Continue to practice SOCIAL DISTANCIN' measures

AND KEEP WASHIN' YOUR PAWS.

MOUSES!

Remember to mask up, too.

  4. Yeah, well, peeps can certainly be slow. That's just a fact. Right, Sivvers? We sure hope Saffy wasn't up there too long!

  5. Oh my. The peep is short a daisy. Or is it some sort of coloured icicle? Anyways, that aside, I thinks your staff need to have a flap built into the roof. Way easier than hailing a passing peep to clamber onto the roof, risking their tin opening skills!
