interactive

Good grief, Saffy, that's not what interactive means.

MOUSES!

Well, yes...

Yeah, I know, but...

But you see...

Oh for mousin' out loud, Saffron, when a toy is an interactive toy, it means you're supposed to play with the toy with the peeps.

Because.

Because.

BECAUSE!

Because if you don't play with the toy WITH Peepers, it hurts Peepers' feelings, that's why.  Because our playin' with our interactive toys WITH her makes her feel useful and wanted and like uh...

Well...

Well like she has a purpose in life, you see.  A reason for livin'.  It makes her feel needed and stuff.

MOUSES!

Did too.

Did too.

DID TOO!

Saffy, you did too totally ignore Peepers this mornin' when she was tryin' to interest you in that wand toy.  I saw it with my own two eyes.  She was danglin' that toy in your face like one dangles a carrot in front of a horse and YOU TOTALLY IGNORED her, for sure.  In fact, at one point I noticed you rolled over and appeared to fall asleep!  And for the record, fallin' asleep when a peep is tryin' to get you to play with them hurts peeps' feelings, for sure.

MOUSES!

Saffron, sometimes you've just gotta cat up and do whatever the peeps want.

WELL I KNOW doin' what peeps want isn't exactly in our nature; but sometimes you've gotta do it, nevertheless.  SOMETIMES we cats have gotta let our peeps feel needed and wanted and stuff, and...

Well, you know...

Sometimes you've just gotta throw 'em a bone.

Or however that sayin' goes.

MOUSES!

Oh for mousin' out loud: there he goes again.

Stop that, Saffron.  Stop that right now!  Stop playin' with that wand toy without the assistance of a peep.

Because like I said, INTERACTIVE TOYS are MEANT to be played with WITH peeps.  The interactive part means you're INTERACTIN' with your peeps.  It doesn't mean you're interactin' with the actual toy, and...

*throws paws up in air*

I give up, Saffron.  Do as you wish.  Hurt the peep's feelings, if you must, but don't expect me to go consolin' her when she's feelin' all lonely and cryin' and stuff, and...

Good, you finally saw reason and stopped flingin' that mouse end of the wand toy up in the air all by yourself, and...

What?  What's that, Saffron?  What's that you're complainin' about now?

Oh, I see.

Apparently, playin' with interactive toys without interactin' with peeps is only fun when said peeps are WATCHIN' you play with said toys, without 'em.

New definition of interactive, I guess.

MOUSES!

DON'T. GO. OUT.

Continue to practice SOCIAL DISTANCIN' measures

AND KEEP WASHIN' YOUR PAWS.

MOUSES!

Remember to mask up, too.

  2. Peeps definitely prefer the interactive where they, the peeps, are included.

  3. Sevillle, did you humor the peep? Just wondering. :)

  4. So maybe Saffy's logic is that your Peep is interacting if she's watching? MOUSES!
