not my fault

Not my fault, Peepers.  Not my fault.

I said, IT'S. NOT. MY. FAULT.

MOUSES!

Because...  Because it isn't, that's why.

It actually never is.

Or hadn't you noticed?

MOUSES!

IS TOO.  I mean, not.  I mean, it is too true that it's NEVER my fault.

MOUSES!

Look Peepers, there's even a law about these things.  Just look it up.  It's in there somewhere in some subsection of some section, somewhere around.  In the Criminal Code of Canada it states that when in doubt, you're supposed to blame the peep.

Which means...

IT'S ALWAYS A PEEP'S FAULT.

MOUSES!

Look Peepers, I'm very sorry you found a big ol' hole in your stupid little fabric grow bag when you went to use it, but...

BUT IT'S NOT MY FAULT.

Did I, Seville the Cat, chew that hole in your fabric plant pot?  No, of course I didn't.  So you see?  IT'S NOT MY FAULT.

One of two things happened here, Peepers.  Either you, yourself, chewed that hole in that ol' bag, or...  Or it was a mouse.  And as I'm willing to assume you did not decide to enjoy a little fabric grow bag for dessert one day, I'm bettin' on the mouse.

MOUSES!

Well clearly, there's a mouse in the house.

Garage, actually.

But nevertheless, we must have a mouse.

HOW THE FLAMIN' MOUSES IS HAVIN' A MOUSE IN THE HOUSE MY FAULT?

Because I'm a cat, you say?

That makes no sense at all.

MOUSES!

Well if you'd allow us cats, like Saffron and myself, round the clock access to the garage, MAYBE WE WOULD consider dealin' with your silly little mouse.  But since you don't....

IT'S NOT. MY. FAULT.

The fault is yours and yours alone, Peepers.  The fault is totally yours.

Okay, and maybe a little bit that of the mouse.

Or mice...

Honestly, I have no idea of the size of his family.  Truth be told, there's usually more than one.

But the important thing to remember is...

IT'S NOT. MY. FAULT.

MOUSES!

  5. Seville: We didn't know you could grow fabric! Where do you get fabric grow bags? We need a LOT OF IT (fabric, that is!)to cover our Grammy. She's no miniscule peep... not by a long shot? AND of course, it isn't your fault.

    1. Yup, they grow fabric all the time: cotton, linen, etc... Not sure which kind these bags are made of though. Not sure if they grew in the shape of a bag, either. MOUSES!

    2. Well, we hope if they grow in the shape of a bag it's a gigantic one. That's what we need for Grammy.

    3. I'll have to check it out. But as long as no one is stealin' MY NIP to make these fabric grow bags, it'll pretty much work for me. Cotton, linen, catnip... MOUSES!

  10. Today a small bag, tomorrow the world! Just look what the mouse, or mice, did to the moon! Anyways, I takes the view you need to be allowed free range everywhere, to chase mice or to eat them, probably bothas one suggests the other or at least follows or precedes the other. On the subject of seeds, I hopes that mouse, or mice, haven't eaten your nip! As an after thought, a bit like an after diner mint but better tasting, spare mice calls for more cat patrols and thus more food. Simple equation. So, this is an all round win situation for you, Seville.
