You... You... YOU... YOU WHAT?
MOUSES!
For mousin' out loud, Peepers. You went to see Dr Teresa on Friday and didn't bother to take me?
How rude.
MOUSES!
Of course, it's not that I actually WANTED to go see Dr. T. I mean, she gives needles and stuff. Painful stuff. Pokin' and proddin' kinda stuff, if you know what I mean.
And I don't even want to talk about how she takes one's temperature.
MOUSES!
But still, she is MY doctor, So if anyone is gonna go see Dr. T, it really should be me. Me, eu mesmo, et io.
You didn't know I knew some Italian and Portuguese, did ya?
MOUSES!
So anyway Peepers, how is my dear Dr. T?
What do you mean you didn't see Dr. Teresa? What do you MEAN?
But you went for your shots! I heard you sayin', as you were walkin' out the door, that that's why you were goin' outside. And EVERYONE KNOWS Dr Teresa gives the best shots. As far as shots go, I suppose.
So what did you get? Huh? HUH? Enquirin' minds wanna know. Did you get the rabies one? Or distemper? Maybe the one for feline leukemia? Or did she give you the whole KIT and caboodle, so to speak?
Although in all honesty I didn't know she was givin' distemper shots to peeps these days. But peeps have been known to do strange things, especially as of late.
What do you mean for the umpteenth time, you didn't go to see Dr T? What do you MEAN?
OH MY MOUSES... PEEPERS, ARE YOU CHEATIN' ON MY DR. T?
Peepers, this is not good. This is not good at all! When a kitty finds a good doctor, even if said kitty doesn't actually like goin' to see doctors in general, it's kinda expected that the doctor they've found IS THE ONLY doctor said kitty ever should see. Cheatin' on veterinarians is an absolute no-no, for sure.
And I'm pretty sure this applies to kitties' peeps, too.
MOUSES!
So Peepers, either you went to see Dr. T without me - Bad human. BAD! - or you went to get your shots from some other doctor I don't even know - EQUALLY BAD!!!
LET ME SEE YOUR RABIES TAGS.
What's this you're handin' me, now? This ain't no rabies tag at all! It's just a stupid piece of paper, and...
Oh.
Oh....
OH....
So now I see. You didn't get your rabies shot, after all.
Although you might wanna look into gettin' that one, Peepers. I've seen you foamin' at the mouth like a rabid peep while you're brushin' your teeth.
And you couldn't get that one from Dr. Teresa, huh?
Who knew?
MOUSES!
Remember to mask up, too.
I am glad your Peep got her Covid jab. We had our second one last Tuesday so hopefully that makes us safer now. We are sticking with the masks in indoor places though.
ReplyDeleteWell at least Peepers won't be getting rabies now!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that your peep got her covid shot.
ReplyDeleteHi Sivvers! Well, even if it wasn't from Dr. Teresa, we are so glad your Peep got her first COVID shot! We got our second one two weeks ago, and will be officially "fully vaccinated" tomorrow afternoon.
ReplyDeleteGlad your folks got their first dose. We were lucky to get the J&J before all the troubles with it. We still wear masks though. And rarely go anywhere.
ReplyDeleteWe are so happy your Peep finally managed to get her anti-COVID jab. Our Human got hers ages ago (January) and she finally feels safe to be around other Peeps. How strange to think humans are actually eagerly awaiting being stabbed!
ReplyDeletePaws up for your human getting vaxxed! My human had hers last month, and she actually got to go out to an event this evening!
ReplyDeleteSeville, I went out all day Saturday with friends...the first time since mid-March 2020, because we all have been vaccinated and felt that we weren't going to spread the germs.
ReplyDeleteHowever, we wore our masks when in any enclosed spaces.
Congrats on the shots! Now, Seville, you can safely send the peep out shopping for those hard to get things that you may need and cant get by post or from up the Amazonian jungle! Mind you, she may need two. Maybe even three shots. Dont ask me why, maybe just depends how infectious she is I guess???
