What the mouses happened to YOU? You havin' a bad hair day or somethin', Andy?
And for your information, that was a rhetorical question, for sure.
Ugh. There are some things a kitty can never unsee.
So anyway, what did happen? You stick your paw in an electrical outlet again?
I shouldn't have to tell you this Andy - I really shouldn't - but stickin' your paws in electrical outlets is NEVER a good idea.
Ahhh... It's a comb over, you say.
AHHH... It was the COMB, you say.
You sure 'bout that? 'Cause uh...
'Cause Andy, that's just weird. Combs don't make cats' fur look like yours looks right now.
At least they're not supposed to.
You know Andy, I love a good combin' as much as the next cat, and Peep #1 combs me all the time. My head, my back, my tummy... Everythin'. But my fur NEVER, EVER looks like...
Like THAT. You know, like what your fur is lookin' like right now. All orange wispiness and stuff, lookin' like it's blowin' around in a hurricane gale force wind.
Although seriously Andy, I've gotta paw it to you bro, it takes a lot of talent to get your fur lookin' like it's blowin' about in the wind, without there actually bein' any wind blowin' it about.
Not to mention a lot of courage to appear that way in public.
But uh... How did you do that, anyway?
Never mind. It's not somethin' I really need to know.
Okay, fine. I DO need to know. Andy, how come your fur is all...
All poofy and stuff. All poofy and wispy and lookin' like it's about to fly off into the sunset or somethin'.
And are you SURE you didn't stick your paw into an electrical outlet, Andy? 'Cause had you done so, it would really explain a lot.
It would REALLY explain a LOT.
You don't say.
You DO say.
You say that the peep says you have fly away fur, because with it bein' winter and all, and our havin' the heat on in the house, the air is incredibly dry, and the friction created when she was combing you caused an electrostatic charge to accumulate on the surface of your fur and...
I knew this had somethin' to with electricity and stuff.
You know Andy, Peep #1 has been known to make stuff up. Known to just say whatever pops into her silly little head. All to make herself look good.
Or in this case, to make herself look not bad.
You sure she's not doin' that right now? Are you sure she's not makin' up some flimsy excuse? 'Cause seriously, bro, this blamin'-of-the-comb business sounds a whole lot like nonsensical nonsense to me.
Basically what you're sayin' is...
THE PEEP WENT AND MADE YOUR FUR LOOK ALL FUNNY.
Well, actually, we kinda like Andy's furs :)ReplyDelete
We get a lot of electrical jolts when mum tries to pat us because it is so dry indoors :/
She tries to rub her hands together so the shock is not so bad.
We say..come on Summer!!!
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
It's feelin' pretty spring-like today. And Andy's fur has responded by bein' not quite so electrically charged. Thank goodness for that! purrsDelete
Oh no the peeps do know how to mess up our precious fur and have the nerve to think they are doing us a favor! purrsReplyDelete
TELL me about it! Thank goodness MY fur doesn't go like that. MOUSES!Delete
Of course it's the peep's fault. Never ours.ReplyDelete
You know what they say. When in doubt, blame the peep. MOUSES!Delete
That fly away fur is a real thing! But it sounds like the Peep encouraged poor Andy's along. MOUSES!ReplyDelete
I think she did. Peep #1 is evil like that. MOUSES!Delete
Guess you're lucky Seville you don't have long hair like Andy cause you would have the fly away look too.Hugs and Purrs.ReplyDelete
Seriously. If I did, I'd be wantin' a lion cut or somethin' like that. purrsDelete
Well, Severs, if Andy is having a bad fur day, it is nothing like the ones my Mom gets. Mom's makes the mirrors shatter and the dogs howl and the moon turn red! Just sayin'. Purr-oblem is that Mom has them every day! Tee hee hee! -Valentine (& Mom) of Noir Kitty MewsReplyDelete
My peep does that too! Most of the time Peep #1 just gives up and sticks a hat on her head to hide it. MOUSES!Delete
The combination of heater and cold weather makes my tail look awful! My human had a time whipping it into shape this weekend.ReplyDelete
But in the end I bet it looked great. I bet it was PURRfect, for sure. purrsDelete
Oh my word, I can but speculate what it looks like.... OK I have it, Andy was sporting the POTUS look! Best not shout about that too loud else he'll be arrested for imitation MOLReplyDelete
If it's all down to static, maybe he could have one of those earthing chains attached, like cars have ?
Toodle pips and purrs
He was! Only even I have to admit, Andy looked way better. purrsDelete
Andy your fur looks just fine. And Seville I betcha your furs will fly if you keep making fun of Andy's.ReplyDelete
Only if he can catch me! MOUSES!Delete
Andy, you look like you could use a good fur-pull! It would feel really good, I swear!ReplyDelete
Oohhh... What is this "fur-pull" of which you speak? Inquirin' minds wanna know. purrsDelete
I know all about static hair in the winter. :)ReplyDelete
You get it too? It's like an epidemic. MOUSES!Delete
For some reason, I can't get the old shampoo commercials out of my head. You know, the ones where the woman flips her hair all over to reveal the supposed result of said product. Maybe Andy's a spokesmodel?!?ReplyDelete
Hmmm.. You know somethin'? THAT COULD BE! MOUSES!!!Delete
