give a peep a mile...

Saffy, Saffy, Saffy...

*sighs*

SAFFY, SAFFY, SAFFY...

*SIGHS*

There's so much stuff you've gotta learn, Saffy my man.  SO MUCH STUFF you've GOT to learn.

MOUSES!

Like what, you ask?

Well...

Well for starters, when the peep starts actin' all weird, the LAST thing you should do is accept her weirdness like it's not at all weird.  Give a peep an inch and they'll take a mile, for sure.

MOUSES!

What?

Oh yeah.

Give a peep a centimetre and they'll take a kilometer, for sure.

Well that just sounds stupid.

MOUSES!

Okay, so like I was sayin', Saffron, when Peepers gets all weird and starts flailing her arms about and kickin' her feet here and there, claimin' she's dancin', WE CATS ARE SUPPOSED to show our disgust.  We're supposed to tell her right there on the spot that her behaviour is weird, and that weird behaviour is unacceptable as unacceptable can be.

On account of it bein' so weird, you see.

We cats are SUPPOSED to put a stop to the weirdness any way we possibly can.  We are NOT supposed to sit there and watch like it's the new normal or somethin' like that.

WE DO NOT WANNA NORMALISE WEIRD BEHAVIOUR AT ALL!

And let me tell you somethin', Saffron: casually walkin' past her when she's havin' some kinda dancersize fit slash seizure slash actin'-like-a-fish-outta-water IS JUST ASKIN' FOR TROUBLE, for sure.  Why, if Peepers thinks we cats are okay with her behavin' like a...

Like a...

Like a...

WELL I DON'T KNOW what her behaviour is like.  No normal bein' would ever normally behave so weirdly.

MOUSES!

But the point is, Saffron, if Peepers thinks this kinda weirdness is acceptable, she'll think it's okay for her to be all weird like this ALL the time, and once other cats get a wind of what's goin' on over here...

Well...

WELL YOU AND I WILL  BECOME THE LAUGHIN' STOCK OF THE ENTIRE NEIGHBOURHOOD, FOR SURE!

So cat up Saffy, my man, and do the right thing regardin' Peepers' latest weird trend.  You see her behavin' like she's been behavin' these past few days and the first thing you should do is look scared.  If that doesn't work, look annoyed.  If that doesn't work, look mad.  And if THAT doesn't work...

Hmmm...

I know!

If that doesn't work, go pee in her shoes.  Poop, if you can.

Yup, that'll stop the weirdness, for sure.

MOUSES!

And remember:

IF IN DOUBT,

DON'T. GO. OUT.

Continue to practice SOCIAL DISTANCIN' measures

AND KEEP WASHIN' YOUR PAWS.

MOUSES!

Remember to mask up, too.

  1. Gee! If peeps are acting weird, I just go hide!
Sometimes, though, its hard to tell when they are weird.
If mum acts weird, I hide, because it could mean a trip to the vet!

  4. Peeps are weird for sure, Sivvers. But we're not sure how well the pooping and peeing in the shoes is gonna work out.

  5. As someone who has had their shoes peed on- not a good idea.

  7. Oh, oh...that WOULD make my peeps act very weird, because they would freak out if that happened. Hmmm, we think you need a different strategy. Hmmm...we bark and yelp, but that is for doggies...we don't know what kitties should be like...our Pipo bro was elderly and didn't do much when we came here...though he sure did know how to HISS!
