You know I'm right, Peepers. You KNOW I'm right. You must know, know, KNOW that I'm right, for sure.
Yeah, yeah... I'm just sayin'...
Don't give me that innocent look like you don't know what I'm talkin' about. Or like you don't know that I'm right. Or...
Well just don't give me that look, Peepers. You DO know what I'm talkin' about, for sure.
Plus, you know that I'm right.
I know, I know... I know what you're thinkin'. You thinkin', Peepers has gone and messed somethin' up, AGAIN. And do you know somethin', my friends?
YOU WOULD BE RIGHT.
So Santa brought Saffy and me this round, tunnel nestin' thing for Christmas. And Santa, bein' the great kinda guy Santa Claus is, had his elves set it all up for us and everythin'. There it was under the tree, ready to move in. Ready to use. Ready to be enjoyed to the fullest, for sure. Santa is thoughtful that way.
Well the peeps gave Saffy and me a hammock. It's a nice hammock, I guess. I suppose... The picture on the box looks really nice. REALLY nice, actually. The picture on the box looks like Saffy and me could be enjoyin' that hammock, a lot...
ONCE IT'S SET UP.
That's right, my friends: the hammock is still all in pieces.
Now I like a good sleepin' spot as well as the next cat but NO cat can sleep in a hammock before it's uh...
Before it's all hammockitzed, you see.
Now if SANTA had brought us kitties that hammock, he would have had his elves set it all up so that it was ready for one of us cats to jump right into and enjoy a good snooze. I know he would. I know he would have done that, for sure. SANTA would never had left all the kajillion bazillion hammock pieces loose in a box waitin' to be assembled at some later date, later than Christmas. SANTA would have wanted Saffy and me to be able to enjoy our new hammock right away!
I just know he would, 'cause that's the good kinda guy that Santa Clause is.
And you know what else? The box isn't even big enough for nappin'!
I'm tellin' ya, Peepers. SANTA would have given us that hammock already assembled.
Remember to mask up, too.
MOUSES! Santa would have set that thing up strtaight away for sure, Sivvers. We sure home the hammockitization commences real soon!ReplyDelete
He sure would have. SANTA is a responsible gift-giver, unlike some people I know. Hear that, Peepers? purrsDelete
Peepers should absolutely be ashamed of herself for not hammockizing that thing!! 😤😤 Does she think you and Saffy are going to build it YOURSELVES??!!!ReplyDelete
She really should be ashamed of herself, for sure. Does she think Saffy and I can each grow a couple opposeable thumbs in order to use that stupid ol' screwdriver? She needs to start usin' those thumbs God gave her and put our hammock together. MOUSES!Delete
Not set up?!!!!!! Really?!!!!!!!ReplyDelete
That may call for a big hairball on their bed!
Or in a shoe or two. MOUSES!Delete
I guess you need to cut the peeps a little slack because they don't have a bunch of elves on staff to assemble. :) XOReplyDelete
But my peeps ARE staff. Does that make THEM elves? Santa wouldn't put up with their nonsense at all. MOUSES!Delete
Oops, the elves are slacking off a bit!ReplyDelete
Yup, the home grown elves, are slackin' for sure. MOUSES!Delete
It's a travesty, Seville.ReplyDelete
Tell me about it. MOUSES!Delete
MOUSES! You mean it STILL hasn't been set up? That's pawful! Santa would have set it up for certain!ReplyDelete
And you know what? It STILL isn't. Peepers says she's gonna do it by Friday and in the meantime, I should nap in some of my other nappin' spots. I'm tellin' ya, I really need an upgrade with the peeps. MOUSES!Delete
Happy New Year.ReplyDelete
Thank you so much! And a Very Happy New Year to you, too, my friend. PURRSDelete
Oh my. Maybe the Peep needs to ask Santa for a crew of Elves to come and assemble the said unhammock into a 100% working hammock. Maybe there is a kit of DIY flatpack elves he can send for the peep to assemble so they can assemble the hammock? No, thinking on it that could be just as bad, Mouses!ReplyDelete
