Gosh darn it, that's gonna leave a mark.
What am I doin'? What the mousie mousin' mouses AM I DOIN'? The LAST thing I wanna do is draw attention to that mark.
Why was I callin' you, ol' peepy Peepers of mine? What did I want, you ask?
Whew, that was a close one, for sure.
Now let's see...
So there is now a mark on this here chesterfield. A MYSTERIOUS mark, for sure. A mark that has somehow MYSTERIOUSLY appeared, for absolutely no reason at all. No reason I can possibly think of, and...
WHAT? NO, like I said, I wasn't needin' your assistance, Peepers. Not quite sure why I called out your name, to tell you the truth. Uh...
Well are you SURE you heard me callin' out to you? Perhaps it was an audible mirage.
Don't give me that look, Peepers. Audible mirages are real.
Least now that I've made 'em up, they are.
You go and play with your uh... Your knittin'.
Now back to this stain on the couch. If I pull this ol' blanket slash comforter thingy over the cushion like so, and...
But what if she lifts the blankie to wash it or climb underneath, or...
I know. *snaps claws* If I flip the cushion the other way...
Nah, it's too heavy to flip.
I could always just sit here on top of the stain for like.... FOREVER, and...
Who am I kiddin'? I can't sit here forever. At some point I'll be in need of a snack, and...
Oohhh... I could sure go for a snack, right about now. I'm feelin' a mite peckish, you see.
*heads off into kitchen in search of snacks*
"WHAT IS THIS STAIN ON THE CHESTERFIELD CUSHION? SEVILLE!"
Gosh darn it. I leave the room for only a mo and the peep, who was obviously LURKIN' about, finds that ol' stain on the cushion.
What to do, what to do...
Unfortunately, I know what MUST be done. I shall head into the family room and face the consequences of my actions.
OR BETTER YET...
I shall blame Peep #2.
Remember to mask up, too.
I sure hope nobody notices anything Seville!ReplyDelete
I bet this stain is the humans' fault - I mean, they make stains too, right?ReplyDelete
Blame Peep#2, Seville!ReplyDelete
Good idea. :)ReplyDelete
Good plan, Sivvers. get to blaming!ReplyDelete
Dude, you're missing a trick. Strange marks, spots should, in first instance, be apportioned to gardening. That is an area where these things proliferate and so it seems highly likely that the peep has in advertantly brought some sort of mutant hybridised rust/blackspot indoors! I suggest spraying. . . . what, I shall leave up to you, MOLReplyDelete
I'm thinking that Peep #2 had something to do with causing that stain. Maybe a spilled drink?ReplyDelete
