Okay, so once, way back when, Peep #1 didn't turn the bathroom light on one night and accidentally stepped in an accidental puddle lyin' next to the litter box. Boy-oh-boy, was she ever not amused.MOUSES!
But that was then, and this is now, and I'm not talking 'bout that kinda puddle anyway.

Yesterday, it rained. Then it poured. Then it rained a little more. There were a whole lot of puddles outdoors.

This morning I awoke and was greeted by puddles of all sizes, all over the place. This morning the sun was up, and ALL OVER the kitchen and family room floors were puddles. I'm talking 'bout SUN puddles, of course. The very best kinda puddles of all.

They were glorious, my friends. GLORIOUS. And by the way, they still are, 'cause the sun is still shining and pools of light are still puddling all over the floor.
Makes a kitty like me super happy, for sure.

And guess what; the weatherpeeps are forecasting a WHOLE WEEK of sun puddles for me. Isn't that the most wonderful thing you've ever-in-your-nine-lives heard?

Of course, there was one minor altercation when both Mason and I were after the same sun puddle this morning. But that altercation ended when I, Seville the Cat, happened to notice AN EVEN BETTER sun puddle a few pace away.

Ummm... No. No, I did not offer up the better sun puddle to my sister. I claimed that one for myself.

Unfortunately, just as puddles of water dry up, sun puddles do, too. Well, they don't actually dry up on account of their not bein' wet in the first place, but they do move on, you see.
So...
So this morning, the peeps watched as we cats moved from one sun puddle, to the next sun puddle, to the next one, and the next, and so on, and so on. As the sun puddles moved, we cats did, too.
Until...
Until it was time for lunch.
MOUSES!
Then after we ate, we sought out more puddles in which to lounge and luxuriate, and...Hey Peepers! You think you could bring some more treats over here? And a nip mouse, too? Oohhh... And how 'bout a bowl of fresh nip water with that? No ice, but do make sure the water is cold. Mineral would be nice, if you have it. I don't wanna leave this sun puddle unattended, you see, in case some kitty gets any ideas.
