get a load of this

Hey Peepers!  Get a load of this.

This.

THIS.

THIS!

Oh for mousin' out loud.  THIS.

Sometimes I really wonder 'bout my peep.

MOUSES!

And now, 'CAUSE YOU TOOK SO LONG TO PAY ATTENTION ol' peep of mine, you've gone and missed it.

MOUSES!

So anyway...

So anyway, let me tell you all 'bout what Saffy was doin'.

I know, I know...  I know what you're thinkin'.  You're thinkin' I'm about to make fun of my brother in some way or another, and...

And you're thinkin' that that would be mean.

And you're probably also thinking 'bout how I USUALLY make fun of the peep.

True.  On TWO counts.  But not on the third.

MOUSES!

It WOULD be mean of me to make fun of Saffy AND I do usually reserve my makin' fun of others for makin' fun of the peeps.  But actually, I wasn't plannin' on makin' fun of Saffy.  I was gonna...

What?  What's that, Peepers?  What's that you're babblin' on about now?

You wanna know why makin' fun of my brother would be mean but I don't mind makin' fun of you?

Hmmm...

Well...

Well, that's 'cause that's what peeps are for, you see.  Makin' fun of, I mean.

MOUSES!

But back to the business at paw.  The business of what I wanted to show Peepers but because she wasn't payin' attention, she went and missed the whole thing.

What I WANTED to show Peepers was how Saffy was lyin' half on, half off the chesterfield, defyin' all laws of physics, namely gravity.  And I'll be honest with you, I'm not sure how he was doin' it.  I mean, I KNOW I'VE been known to defy the law of gravity once or twice or maybe three and a half gazillion times in my nine lives, but I don't think I've ever defied it that much.  I mean, he wasn't just half hangin' off the couch.  It was almost like he was suspended in mid-air.  It was the craziest thing I've ever seen!

AND IF THE PEEP had been payin' closer attention to me, and had looked when I first told her to look, she would have seen it, too.

But did she?  Pay attention, I mean.

OF COURSE NOT.

'Cause she's your typical inattentive, lackadaisical, perhaps even half-deaf - 'cause what other reason than potential deafness could possibly account for her always not listenin' to me - peep.

AND BY THE TIME SHE FINALLY DID look where I was tellin' her to look, the show was all over, for sure.

In other words, Saffy was defyin' the law of gravity no more.

In fact, Saffy was then lyin' on the floor.

'Cause one can only fight gravity for so long.

Fact.

MOUSES!

And remember:

IF IN DOUBT,

DON'T. GO. OUT.

Continue to practice SOCIAL DISTANCIN' measures

AND KEEP WASHIN' YOUR PAWS.

MOUSES!

Remember to mask up, too.

  4. Cats do not follow the rules of physics, especially gravity!
Cats disdain rules at all costs.

  6. Oh my, sounds like Saffy has been practicing meditation! Now as to that hugely long word you used, 'lackadaisical', does that mean one who is without daisies? Or maybe someone whose hobby is varnishing said lovely plants? Anyways, next time maybe set up the video camera and post a floating cat on Your Tuber 😉. (That's a gardening home video site we started here in Upper Much-Mousing.)
